PURPOSE OF THE INFORMATION SYSTEM
The purpose of the information system is to maintain the customer register in PlatinOro Online Store and handle customers' orders and to archive them. It will also be used to track missing shipments. The information can also be used to enhance the operations of PlatinOro and for statistical purposes. All information will be handled in accordance with the finnish law.
The details in the information system can be used to direct marketing by PlatinOro, but they are never given to third parties. PlatinOro may however use partners to maintain a good level of service with its customers. Part of the information may be stored on partners systems for technical reasons. The information is only used to maintain PlatinOro's customer relations through technical interfaces.
DATA STORED BY THE INFORMATION SYSTEM
The information system includes the following information:
- First and surname of the customer
- Address
- Telephone number
- Information about made orders and products included within the order
- Tracking codes for the shipments
TRANSFERENCE OF INFORMATION
Information will not be transfered outside PlatinOro. Personal information will not be transfered outside European Union.
All details of a registered user will be deleted, if the customer requests so.
CONFIDENTIAL DATA
The information system and all the files are protected using commonly used protection technics in business environments. Usage of the system requires a personal login code and password, which will be only given to persons employed by PlatinOro who need it to comply with their responsibilities and position.
